Juan Carrau Tannat

Entry level expression of Uruguays flagship grape Tannat. This expression is not overly tannic but offers up all the great complexity of more serious expressions. Bold and smooth with lots of cassis and blackberry and a spicy peppery note. Perfect weekday dinner wine!

Grande Reserva Petit Manseng

A unique grape for Uruguay but in line with the origins of Tannat in southern France. This petit manseng is aged in new oak to round out the edges and add some sweet spice to its profile. Tastes like a passionfruit pastry with a hint of sweetness.

Gran Reserva tinto

Grande Reserva Tannat/Cabernet

A blend of Cabernet and Tannat aged in oak to round out the structure and add some sweet spice character. This elegant blend offers the savoury complexity of old world bordeaux mixed with the intense fruit character we expect of south american reds. The best of both worlds!

Vilasar Nebbiolo

A special and rare Nebbiolo coming from 90 year old vines planted by italian immigrants a century ago. The expression of this wine certainly rivals its cousins in Barolo. Structured, complex and elegant this wine needs time before it will reveal its true potential.
