Writing its century long family story

From its origins, 90 years ago, the Guidi family always wanted to promote its own style and name, together with that of the region and of the country, because loving wine means sharing it with everyone.

The estate was founded in the 1929 and it is ran today by the 4th generation of the family, showing the distinctive character of the wine making business and how their well-established know how was transferred year after year from father to son. Today the innovative creativity of Nicola and Giacomo Guidi has been a valuable addition to the experience of their father, Avio. This winning combination has led Cantine Guidi to renew itself, offering today an excellent range of wines that are the true expression of the Tuscan territory, like Chianti, Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino and Vernaccia of San Giminiano, amongst many others.

Vernaccia di San Gimignano

A historic wine from the Medeival town of San Gimignano in Tuscany made from the classic grape Vernaccia. Acid driven and fresh, with this wine you can expect plenty of citrus and white fleshed fruits with a slight green almond bitterness on the finish. A delightfully fresh and savory white.

A declassified Sangiovese grown in the Chianti area. Designed to be juicy and approachable, this wine does time in both stainless steel and concrete for more focus on fruit flavors. Ripe red berries, and classic notes of spice and leather dominate a smooth and not overwhelming palate.

Chianti Classico

A very traditional Chianti coming from the original foothills of the area. Medium bodied and structred, the palate is full of concentrated red fruit and savory complexity. Serious enough to age, approachable enough to enjoy in its youth.
